The Nasty Truth as told by resentful third cousin, Iago Pettigrew of Tavistock, Ontario.

'NO!' Harry yelled. He ran forwards, placing himself in front of Pettigrew, facing the wands. 'You can't kill him,' he said breathlessly. 'You can't.' -- J.K. Rowling

Todd Pettigrew grew up in the small Ontario town of New Hamburg, which is a nice place to live, but you wouldn't want to visit there.

He studied at pretty much any place that would take him including The University of Western Ontario, McMaster University, and the University of Waterloo, where they managed to get rid of him once and for all by granting him a PhD in 1998.  His research centres on social and political transformations in early modern England and the way in which those cultural changes influence the drama of the period. In short, if Shakespeare didn't understand what was going on in England, Todd Pettigrew wants to not know too.   His love for the work of Robertson Davies is so well-known that many people assumed they were related and he received numerous messages of condolences when Davies died suddenly in 1995.

His active interest in the theatre led him to co-found, and serve as artisitic director for, Raven Black Productions, the company for which he directed six plays between 1995 and 1999.  More recently he has taken to torturing the innocent theatre goers of Cape Breton with outrageous turns in Caligula and My Fair LadyHis ugly mug can be seen here.
