- Taylor polynomials, Taylor formula, Big-O notation,
indeterminate forms and L’Hopital’s rule.
- The
definite integral, partitions and
Riemann sums, properties of the definite integral, mean-value theorem for
integrals, fundamental
theorem of calculus, methods of substitutions.
- Integration by parts, integration
of powers of trigonometric functions, inverse trigonometric substitutions, method of partial fractions and other inverse substitutions, using Maple for integration, improper
integral of type I and II and
estimating convergence and divergence.
- Volumes of solids of revolution,
volumes by slicing, arc length and surface area, parametric and
polar curves, polar coordinates
and polar curves.
- Sequences
and series, convergence tests for series, absolute and conditional convergence,
