NUTRITION 2106 (FORMERLY 265)

        PLEASE NOTE THAT NUTRITION TRANSFER OPTION STUDENTS WISHING TO GO TO ANOTHER SPECIFIED UNIVERSITY FOR THEIR THIRD YEAR OF THE HONOURS B.SC. IN HUMAN NUTRITION IN FALL 2017 MUST HAVE TAKEN NUTRITION 2106 IN WINTER 2017 UNLESS OF COURSE NUTRITION 2106 OR 265 HAD ALREADY BEEN SATISFACTORILY COMPLETED.  NUTRITION 2106 WILL BE OFFERED IN WINTER TERM 2018 AND EVERY WINTER TERM THEREAFTER.

 

MICROBIOLOGY 2101 (FORMERLY 223)

           UNLESS MICROBIOLOGY 2101 (FORMERLY 223) HAS ALREADY BEEN SATISFACTORILY COMPLETED, STUDENTS MUST TAKE MICROBIOLOGY 2101 IN THE SECOND YEAR OF THE NUTRITION TRANSFER OPTION, PREFERABLY IN THE WINTER (JANUARY-APRIL) TERM. STUDENTS WHOSE COURSE SCHEDULE WILL NOT ACCOMMODATE THIS WINTER TERM OFFERING MUST TAKE MICROBIOLOGY 2101 IN THE FALL (SEPTEMBER-DECEMBER) TERM OF THE SECOND YEAR OF THE NUTRITION TRANSFER OPTION.

 

BIOLOGY 2203 AND 3203 (FORMERLY 3200 AND 360)

           STUDENTS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER FOR BIOLOGY 2203 AND 3203 AS SOON AS POSSIBLE UPON COMPLETION OF THE PRE-REQUISITES FOR EACH OF 2203 AND 3203. THIS EARLY REGISTRATION MAY SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCE THE OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS TO BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST FOR BIOLOGY 2203 AND 3203. PLACEMENT ON THE WAITING LIST FOR BIOLOGY 2203 AND/OR 3203 MAY RESULT IN A DELAY OF ONE YEAR BEFORE A STUDENT ON THE WAITING LIST CAN GO ON TO ANOTHER SPECIFIED UNIVERSITY.

 

HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES-REQUIREMENTS

        Students must have 12 credits (6 + 6 pair of a social science - e.g. 6 credits of 1000 level psychology plus another 6 credits of a different psychology at THE 2000 level or above) plus 6 credits of a humanities OR 12 credits of a humanities(6 +6  pair of a humanities -e.g. 6 credits of philosophy at THE 1000 level plus another 6 credits of a different philosophy at THE 2000 level or above ) plus 6 credits of a social sciences prior to entering their third year at ANOTHER SPECIFIED UNIVERSITY.

Humanities and social science courses may be 6 or 3 credit courses.

 

Humanities: English, French, History, Religious Studies, Philosophy, Spanish, Celtic Studies

Social Sciences: Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology, Economics, Political Science
