Dawn White, Communication Department Chair, Communication Lab Coordinator
&
Senior Lab Instructor (Communication).
Dawn is a graduate of CBU with a BA in Communication and a Certificate in
Theatre Arts. Dawn is a Senior Lab Instructor responsible for the planning, training, scheduling and facilitation
of the experiential learning labs that accompany the basic courses
(COMM1103, COMM1105, and COMM2175). She also trains the
peer facilitators for their work in the lab, designs the lab lesson plans, and assesses
students' performance. Aside from her work in the lab,
Dawn delivers COMM1103 and
COMM3931.
She works as a Distance Education Consultant,
assisting members with the design and delivery of online courses through Moodle. Dawn
along with Dr. Carol Corbin published the textbook, Interpersonal Communication: A Cultural Approach,
for use in Communication 1103.
