This lab focuses on an introduction to some of the fundamental concepts and experimental techniques used in chemistry. Lab will also supplement theory topics taught in the the course. Students will be introduced to such concepts and techniques as unit conversion, proper measurement techniques and the use of significant figures, the use of analytical balances, volumetric glassware, titration, measurement of pH, study of buffer systems, nomenclature and molecular modelling.
