Research Interests:

Non-aqueous enzymology has emerged as a prominent area of enzyme research in recent times. One of the projects of this lab is to study enzyme structure and function in non-aqueous systems (systems containing little or no water). This lab is also involved in developing simple, rapid and cost-effective methods for purification of enzymes of industrial and clinical significance (Peroxidase and Phenylalanine Ammonia Lyase), and their applications.
